Welcome to the world of American Beauty Collage. We call ourselves
"collage" because of the wide variety of styles and techniques 
employed to create our designs. The Dimensional Borders volume 
contains 50 fancy borders and smaller frames for all your art projects. 
These are not your blah borders for the usual business purposes; they 
are artistic designs for flyers, newsletters, greeting and notecards,
posters,framed prints, cover pages, and so on. Shading and perspective have 
been used to create the illusion of depth, carving, embossing, or 
wrought metal.  These effects are quite difficult and time consuming 
to create, and that is why they are so seldom seen in PCX format, 
which is the format most sought after by users.

Although many of the designs don't show up well on the screen,  
they print out beautifully. Also, they can be resized without 
losing quality of shading, a characteristic not often found 
in bitmaps.

These files are compressed, and must be uncompressed to your hard disk.
Do this as follows:

        C:\>md borders (or directory name of your choice)
        c:\>cd borders
        c:\>borders>copy b:\(or a:\)*.*
        c:\>pkunzip *.zip

Because these are very high resolution images--clean and sharp--they 
are large, and occupy many bytes. If your hard disk is crowded
(and whose isn't?), you may copy the uncompressed images to floppy
disks, and import  them into your applications directly from the 
floppies.

A registration fee of $10.00 brings our newsletter catalog, and 
entitles you to purchase additional images in several catagories
as they become available. If you cannot afford the registration fee,
enjoy using the designs, and pay when you can. At this time, we have 
two additional design packs available, and much more coming--borders, 
pewter shaded clip art, medallions, abstract designs, geometrics,
labels--beautiful, fanciful, and/or whimsies. Our original, unique type 
of artwork cannot be obtained elsewhere. Thank you sincerely for trying
